Perchloric Acid
Perchloric acid is a chlorine oxoacid and offers the properties of a mineral acid, without introducing ions such as sulfate, chloride, and nitrate. It is available in various reagent grades. It can be used as a strong oxidant and to prepare perchlorate salts.
