Boric Acid
Boric acid, called sassolite when in mineral form, is a weak, monobasic Lewis acid derived from boron. Its numerous applications include use as an antibiotic, an antiseptic, an astringent, a pesticide, a pH buffer, a neutron absorber, and a precursor chemical.
