Filtering Flasks

Use filtering flasks, also known as vacuum flasks, Buchner flasks, suction flasks, Kitasato flasks or side-arm flasks, for rapid filtration of liquids in numerous general laboratory procedures. The typical flask design has a conical shape with a flat bottom, tapered neck, and a sidearm for use in vacuum filtration. The thick walls of the flasks can withstand pressure under vacuum.
