• 5-Bromo-5-nitro-1,3-dioxane is a chemical compound showing antimicrobial activity against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, yeast, and fungi
• This compound is capable of promoting the oxidation of essential protein thiols, causing inhibition of enzyme activity leading to the inhibition of microbial growth
